I know, the first one in a while! Life’s been a little crazy lately and I have found I don’t have nearly the time for Crafting & Cupcakery as I used to. I will try to get posts up as often as I can though, because I love crafting…and cupcakes! 😉 I hope you enjoy the first Friday Five in a few weeks! And I hope you all had a very merry and beautiful Christmas!
The story this video tells is number one on today’s Friday Five. Watch and you’ll see why. 🙂
Number two is this adorable cross stitch sold on Miss Biscotti. I’ve been browsing hoop art lately and have put cross stitching on my ‘learn how to’ list! It’s so cool and you can make such beautiful things! This little cutie above would like perfect in my kitchen!
Number three is these perfect toadstool measuring spoons! My perfect boyfriend got them for me as a stocking stuffer because when we were at World Market one time I spotted them and said, “I need these.” Even better, he bought me a stainless steel set of measuring spoons as well. He knew that I wouldn’t want to actually use the toadstool ones because they’re so cute. 🙂
The holidays and everything that comes along with them are number four. Max, Pip and I were extremely blessed in getting to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas day with his family. We also got to make a surprise visit to my oldest brother’s house on Christmas morning. It was great to be able to see my nephews on Christmas day! We’re headed home this weekend to celebrate Christmas with my family and to meet my newest niece, Josie Joy! I have an endless lists of blessings to be grateful for this year!
Reading is number five! I love books and I love reading, but now that I’ve graduated I find that I just don’t make time for it. But when I do pick up a book, I’m so happy and relaxed. Starting in January, I’m going to try to read at least a book a month. My ‘to read’ list is pretty backed up so it’s time to start checking some items off of that list!
I hope your weekend is full of adventure and things you love!
