Friday Five

It’s late…I know, I know! I have a job now didn’t ya hear?! 😉 Speaking of my job….

My Job

My job is number one today. If you’ve been following my blog at all then you’ll know that all summer I was pretty stressed out about not having a job. I have a job now and I’m SO glad that I was picky about it and didn’t settle for a job I didn’t want. Now I have a job that I’m still very new at, but I already love it. I love the people, the animals, the environment. I love what I’m doing during the day…today I was sad to leave…and it’s Friday. For those of you who don’t know, I’m the Event Coordinator for the Fox Valley Humane Association. I’m also assisting with adoptions. It’s a truly magical job. Take Tiger Paw’s word for it. (Pictured above) He’s adoptable, by the way, and he’s purrrrect.

After I got off of work last night at 7 o’clock I came home to this; sushi, flowers and sour gummy worms, for no reason at all. So unexpected surprises are number two today. Whose day wouldn’t be improved by unexpected flowers, sushi, candy, or any sort of nice gesture? Take notes, fellas! Sorry to embarrass you, Maxwell.

These chips are number three today because they are unbelievably delicious. I could eat a whole bag in one sitting if I didn’t control myself. I buy them at Festival Foods, but I’m sure they’re available at other grocery stores! If you ever see them at the grocery store, give them a try! They accompany my turkey sandwich very nicely at lunch time.

CocoPPa App

Yes, the icons on my home-screen look like that of a twelve year old girls. Yes, I LOVE it! The CocoPPa App in the Google Playstore is number four because it allowed me to add these totes adorbs icons to my home-screen in place of the generic ones that were in place. Make fun of me all you want but they are just soooo caaauttte!

These felted wool acorns, available here, are number five because I want to buy 25 of them and hang them all over my Christmas tree! How sweet are they? I think they would compliment my pine cone garland beautifully! Plus, I have Christmas fever! Can I put up my tree yet?!

What did you love most about this week!? I hope your weekend is full of adventure and things you love!
