This past week has been full of uncertainty for me. I wrapped my summer up, working my last two shifts at both of my summer jobs. Along with this transition, we’re still getting used to life with a puppy.
Life with a puppy isn’t exactly what I thought it would be, it’s better. Sure, I hate getting up in the middle of the night to take him outside. I hate waking up at 5:45 in the morning. I hate when he has accidents inside. I hate when I want to relax and he wants to bark until I play. But I love his goofy personality. I love the way he hops down the stairs. I love the way he wags his tail and squeals when Max or I come home from being gone all day. I love the way he runs to his food bowl, tripping over his paws at least once when Max sings him the ‘Puppy Chow’ song when it’s time to eat.
Working two part-time jobs, seeking a full-time job, taking care of a puppy, I haven’t had much time to for my normal crafting and cupcakery shenanigans. I’ve found myself starting multiple projects, leaving them unattended until I have time to go back to them.
I found the desk above at resale shop I always drive by on my home from work. Sometimes things catch my eye, but this desk kept catching my eye and each time I saw it I had a new idea for it. It isn’t anywhere near finished but I someday soon hope to finish it and post the before and after pictures.
